Your 1st Quarter Exam is today. This is a cumulative exam covering chapters 1- 5. There is no essay component to the exam.

The class with the highest overall score at the end of the 1st Quarter will get a waffle breakfast in class ... mmm, homemade waffles and orange juice.

FIELD TRIP

In class today you will design a research project testing the link between perception and sensation. Specifically, does a person's perception affect their sensation? You will need to design a full project that utilizes the scientific method (p. 31). Step 1 will need to be very clear and you should use the appropriate psychological terminology. A major emphasis will be on step 2 and how you would execute step 3. Step 4 will be purely speculation, but you should attempt to predict the results of your study. Step 5 is not necessary.
